Midway into the quiz the duo from Vidyamandir had inched ahead of the rest. The next round of the quiz was on the buzzer and it required the teams to think lateral and team PSBB who were just behind the top two teams at that time decided to brave it and give it a go on the buzzer. A couple of stunning answers later they had moved into the lead making the quiz wide open as it entered the final frontier.

The tension was visible as quizmaster Pickbrain fired the final questions of the day.
